Revolution oardRevolution board supports external leds, up to 10 of the WS2811, WS2812 and WS2812B multi-color LEDs can be used. To use more than 10 leds you need to put the strips in parallel instead of series.  The WS281x leds do not work on cc3d boards.  The WS281x leds work only using the servo1 output with RevoNano.

External Led provides visual information about flight modes or warnings during flight/pre-flight checks.
